We research ring settings, stone cuts and store policies so you can shortlist a ring in an evening instead of a month.
Who we are
Loupe & Band is an independent website. We are not owned by Segal Jewelry and don't work for it. We focus on one jeweler on purpose: a catalogue of thousands of designs is easier to explain well than a hundred stores explained badly.
How we choose
We start from Segal's bestseller list and its main design families, then compare them on the things that matter after the proposal: how the setting wears, how easily a wedding band pairs with it, how forgiving the stone shape is, and how much it costs relative to similar designs.
Our notes are based on Segal's published product details, prices and policies, and on general gemology knowledge. We haven't handled every ring on this site, and we don't pretend to. Where something needs checking with the store (stone grading, treatment, resizing limits), we say so on the page.
Prices are checked by hand and dated on every page. They change often, especially during sales, so Segal's product page is always the final word.
How we make money
