Does rose gold fade?

No. The colour comes from copper mixed into the gold, all the way through, so it does not wear off. It can deepen slightly over years as the surface oxidises.

Is rose gold durable?

The copper makes rose gold slightly harder than yellow gold at the same karat, so it resists scratches a little better.

Can I be allergic to rose gold?

People with copper sensitivity occasionally react. Segal advertises nickel-free gold, which removes the most common allergen, but check if you have a copper allergy.
